Richard E. Malinowski

Richard E. Malinowski has a 25 year background in managing Enterprise IT Strategy and Operations for Fortune 500 Financial Services, Biotech and Software Development industry companies, with over 18 years of experience consulting for Fortune 500/1000 companies in the US, Europe and Asia.

He was the former head of IT for CitiBank’s Money Market and Treasury divisions where Richard managed both divisions for IT and logistics and built two of the world’s largest trading floors at that time.

Richard took the position of Head of IT the Western Hemisphere (including parts of the UK and Asia) and project management for Union Bank of Switzerland/UBS Securities as well as 7 subsidiaries where he managed 27 divisions for IT, project management, quantitative analytics and operations. He was on the Crisis Management Team at UBS for over 10 years.

Richard has designed and built 54 of the largest trading floors worldwide.  Background also includes 9 startups, 3 of which became “Top 50”/”Fast 50” corporations; Culturefinder, Infogate (sold to AOL as AOL Financial), Albridge Solutions- sold to PNC Bank for $385MM.

Working experience as an enterprise architect, a security systems visionary, an expert in real time systems networking, applications development, infrastructure design and IT strategy for multi-tiered environments including Web technology, and high volume online transaction, non-stop and clustered computing. Richard implemented the first supercomputer on Wall Street and spearheaded the design and development of REMTCS High Performance Computer system.

Ken K, with 11 years Enterprise Architecture experience with Merck & Co. Inc., currently working on the development of network security tools for REMTCS. In his Enterprise Architect role, Ken has lead technology standardization, application inventory, and application portfolio optimization efforts, resulting in 25% reductions in a pool of over 7000 applications. Ken has designed and implemented a wide variety of systems, including: a document management solution for the American Political Science Association; a college recommendation solution for Vantage Learning; online chat support tools for LiveHelpNow, and the PASS network security solution for REMTCS.
Ken has experience in a wide range of web/code technologies, including: Java, Python, SQL, C#, Bash scripts, JavaScript, etc.; and focuses on producing valid outputs aligned with standards. Jeffrey Steinberg

Jeffrey Steinberg is an experienced business professional with a successful career in venture capital, investment banking, business development, arbitration and administration. From 2014 to 2017 he was Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development for Pharmathene, a publicly traded biodefense company until successfully identifying and negotiating a merger with Altimmune. He successfully managed the recovery of over $200 million dollars from a company that declared bankruptcy to avoid paying a judgement, including serving on the official Creditors Committee. Prior to Pharmathene, he was the Administrative Partner and Vice President of Legal Affairs for HealthCare Ventures LLC, a leading venture capital firm, specializing in Biotechnology and Healthcare. He was a founder of HCV in 1985 and remains a consultant. Mr. Steinberg was responsible for negotiating the terms and conditions of the HCV funds and portfolio investments, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, stock trading, real estate transactions, litigation, technology, compliance and regulatory and SEC matters. HealthCare Ventures raised over $1.6 billion in nine venture funds and invested in over 150 companies, the majority of which were started by HCV. Of these 26 have become public and 37 have been acquired by or merged into public companies. Notable HealthCare Ventures investments include companies such as Human Genome Sciences, LeukoSite, MedImmune, Shire Pharmaceuticals, and Vicuron Pharmaceuticals.
